Has anybody successfully changed the mounting plate of a u360 to a magstick or t-stick mounting plate?
The reson I ask is becasue my panel is routed from underneath to accept the magstick. I would like to mount the u360 in the same spot. I would hate to have to take apart my panel in order to mount a joystick.

I too would be interested to know if this is possible... I have a metal control panel designed for T-Sticks... if it were possible use U360s with this, I'd be a happy camper.

I assume that no one has tried this yet...off to do some work then. I will post pics of my progress if any.

Any news on this? I too have a metal CP with threaded bars mounted to fit t-sticks. I don't know if drilling new holes in the U360 would be a good solution. I can't see why it would damage the U360's functionality.
Does anyone have a comment on this?

I'm probably going to buy a couple U360's to replace my Mags. How different are the mounting dimensions between the two? It would be nice though to keep the Mag mounts where they are and just add the U360's.

The U360's have a mount similar to Happ supers. You will need to drill some holes in the moutning plate of the U360. I ended up not drilling the holes b/c my panel was recessed from the bottom to fit the magstiks. I ended up taking everything apart and re-routing the bottom. :banghead:
If the bottom of your cp is not routed, then it would be easy for you to just drill the U360 plate. Also the plates are not identical and there would be plenty of modifcation to the magstik plate to make it fit the U360. I think that the magstik plate would be rendered useless to the magstik once modified.

I plan on selling my magsticks anyway, so I don't plan on drilling the mounting plates. My CP is not routed underneath so I'll cross that bridge once the U360's are in hand. Keep us posted on your layout/configuring.

I ended up drilling the holes to fit the threaded bars, and it works perfectly :-)
