I am offering up for sale my Atari Black Widow arcade. It was converted from a gravitar machine. The side art has some peeling on the left side and no black widow side art on the right. You can see the original Gravitar artwork on the right side. The game works flawless and the controls all work.
I was going to restore this baby but have not had the time or the money (Typical story :( )
I have no asking price in mind but looking for best offers. It's hard to come by a working color vector monitor.
The arcade game is located in a far west suburb of Chicago.

Can I Mame it ?

I would fly over there and b*tch slap you if you did that...
;D

If you do mame it, PLEASE do it without effecting the original. So you can always bring it back to the original.
Someone sells a video card that can control a XY monitor.... Costs a bit over 100 bucks if I remember correctly. But think long and hard about the games you can play on it, and the controls you have.

It's not a video card and it is substantially more than $100.

Yes I had plans to put a zektor in it. Didn't want to spend the $200 bucks for one.
I know you can buy the side art for the black widow (or at least it was available the last time I searched for it)
Pictures available on request.

Was only kidding. Well, in all honesty, if I could find a vector monitor around here, I'd surely consider a Zektor. Indeed, there are a lot of hassles with it: horizontal/vertical, color/bw, controls. But it's still a nice option.
Or has somebody already written "soun-card/vector Mame" ? ;)

You'd still need something that sits between the sound card and the monitor, I think, transforming voltages. IIUC, the monitor's input signal ranges aren't in the output range of a sound card.
