Title: <News> - Evolution of Video Games video
Post by: saint on January 22, 2008, 11:33:14 am
Another cool Gametrailers.com video. Man, watching this made me miss the arcade I frequented when I was a kid. I need a slurpy darnit! (http://arcadecontrols.com/arcade_main.php#2615)

Blasphemy! How could they not show Street Fighter when showcasing the fighting genre? And how dare they show gametrailers of PS3 games that where only computerized faked simulations of the actual game? Must we go back to how the PS3 dissapointed us with those faked trailers?

I was thinking the same thing.  some of that didn't look like actual game play.  Cool video though.

Pretty interesting vid, but yeah I do feel they condense each category to the point where they leave big gaps between the games of "yesterday" and of today.

ummmm....they did actually.  Street Fighter...the original.  not street fighter 2 or 3 or hyper super ultra crazy combo edition.  but the actual original street fighter.  go watch again.

There used to be a Subway next to the arcade I went to in the early 90's. These days when I see a Subway it just reminds me of taking a break to eat in between gaming.
