Title: electric car distance record

doesnt sound that great until you notice the date of the story  :o who knows what would be possible now if people had put as much into EV development as they did petrol motors...

(i feel bad for the dog though)

Sweet.  I wonder if it would have made 100 miles with a passenger.  More weight, more work.

It also answered a second important question:  what happens if you hit something with it?   ;D
