Lots of new things happening. First of all, I'm moving out at the end of the month and so among other things, I need to buy a good computer desk because the one I've been using while living with the folks is too big to fit in the new place (it takes up most of one wall and the new place has 90 turns to get in so that ain't happenin).
Anyways, I'm going to assume Staples and Office Depot are my best bet, but I thought I'd ask if anyone could suggest a good place and/or good desk that is built decent enough to last for a good while but also not much beyond $100.

If there's an Ikea near you, they have some nice office furniture that's reasonably priced. I have a table that I use in my office that's from Ikea, and it looks nice next to my scandanavian computer desk. :dunno

After buying many crappy keyboard drawers from office depot/etc, I went to Lowes and bought the hardware and a piece of MDF. that sucker is so strong my kids can stand on it. and it cost me about $15.

Yeah, the pull out drawers that come with desks are always a joke. Like a chicken crossing the road joke, you know, the ones that aren't funny. :(
Actually, I forgot but the place I work has a warehouse with some extra furniture in it. I need to get with the boss and see if I can go shopping in there first :D.

Dur. Shoulda thought of this first. He just said I can take what I want. Fantastic. Thanks for the Ikea idea though, I probably would have gone with that if this hadn't of happened.

I got my wife one at Big Lots for 30 bucks, it's nice, and very solid.

Keep an eye on CL and Ebay for office closeouts... every time a small office business, like an insurance agency, has to move/close they sell off their furniture. I picked up a Steelcase corner desk for $50 that will survive a hurricane intact. They will need to get rid of their stuff ASAP and it will be priced accordingly.
