Title: Panasonic CT-36VG50V - Is this a 15khz/31khz monitor?
Post by: eastbayarb on January 15, 2008, 09:41:03 pm
I want to buy this monitor but before I buy, I want to know if anyone knows of this monitor and will truly support 15khz/31khz input via it's VGA port. If it really does, I want to connect my hacked dreamcast VGA cable (outputs 15khz) and some RGB enabled old school consoles (SNES, Genesis, Jaguar, etc), as well as a PC.

According to the PDF at:

http://personafile.com/Panasonic-Television-SVGATV-CT36VG50V-P037988982813.htm

It supports a horizontal frequency of 15khz - 38khz (specifications box, page 4). With these kind of monitors, I never really know what to believe unless I see it.

Anyone with experience with this monitor?

had been an ASC for panasonic/quasar several years ( '86-91, '99-2k.4) . no major problems !
feed it per the specs and u should not have a problem .
though,  set looks to be a '97 model year  ?
