Title: Ghouls and Ghosts

anyone beat this game- I got to the end and then it looped me back to the beginning stage again- I wasn't about to go through the levels again so was wondering if I missed the ending - i presume the rescue of the princess?

excellent ending Gonzo thanks! Brought back chilling memories of all the credits I spent on the stone-face / tounge- bridge stage.

How much more was there to play after it looped through the first level again?

I remember playing the game all night with my friend. Good thing he had a Sega Genesis. Imagine all the quarters we saved.
