I want to use something a lot less flexable to cover my monitor. I am thinking about tempered glass. I haven't worked too much with it or have any experience with it...
??? 1. What thickness would you recommend for the front glass?
??? 2. Is it easy/possible to cut 1 1/8" round holes it? I am considering putting some buttons up front.
??? 3. Is it easy/possible to cut rectangle holes in it? I am considering a rolldown coin mech.
??? 4. How would you hold the front glass in?
As you may have guessed, I am going for extremely compact countertop size.

I am going to change mine from plex to glass
I was not happy at all with the plexi glass .
It seemed kinda flimsy and scratches super easy.
you can buy glass retainer clips at rockler.com.
as for cutting holes out of it, you might be better off with lexan or plexi glass.
good luck
