Thankfully the stupid american patent system is of limted relevence to the rest of the world so all those obvious patents that should never have being granted are usually ignored since if they try to go after you overseas they stand a good chance of having it invalidated making it look pretty silly in the USA

That's why we don't have those BOSE TOUCHTUNES units in the UK. I have never seen one in the flesh. However we do have a large amount of sound leisure boxes and they are awful.
