Title: Simple mala question about pics - Problem Continues!

Just started setting up Mala but I have come to my first (I'm sure of many) questions(s).  After searching online & in the forums... how can I add pictures from my cpu to the mala layout I'm making?  I'm trying to add a picture of my arcade cabinet to the main mala menu (running a tree) but I don't know what to do.   I tried using the CUSTOM form in mala layout editor, but after I save the mll file, the picture I added does not appear on the screen.  My snaps, video, cabinet, etc. work.  Can anyone help me out please?

*Just realized my pics were not in the layout folder! Duh!  On to the next task.  To be continued...

Problem Continues - My pics will show up if I'm using a layout suplied by another person, but when I try to make a new layout from scratch, none of my pics show up :(  I've looked at both WIKI's for Mala and also online and the Mala forum (can't speak German), so I'm still stuck.  Any other suggestions?

Are you asking how to set a background image of your cabinet?  (Double clicking a blank area while in the layout editor)
