So I've got these adult games and whatnot scattered throughout my game list and was wondering if there was any software out there that can track them down and delete them. Ya know how it goes with these bulk packages...

Hello. I used Romlister to remove around 200 Adult Games. I then went through the emumovies preview set that I have for the .122u2 version of mame and compiled a list of those adult games that romlister missed from the movie previews. There were only 30 or so from this category. From that list of previews which I removed by the way, I manually did a windows search in my rom directory, snaps directory, marquee and flyers directory and removed those games that I thought were adult material games. To double check I then went into my snaps directory and did the same thing. Set my folder to thumbnail view and manually inspected the snaps. Again, do a search for the respective directories to remove unneeded games. Again, you only have to remove an extra 30 or so games manually. Of course this is time consuming but hey, it does the trick. Thanks, Shane

Think I used a program called Mame Content Manager. Found here: http://www.mameworld.net/mcm/
Use the Catver.ini or MCM.ini. After I used that to delete all "Mature" roms, I didn't find one adult game on there.

I use Maximus Arcade as my frontend: www.maximusarcade.com
It has a feature in there to filter out adult game automatically by using the catver.ini file. You can download the catver.ini file here: http://www.mameworld.net/catlist/
Hope this helped.

This is, I am sure, a dumb question but what "bulk packages" are you talking about? And where did you get it?

Rule #1 about Roms is that you don't ask where to get roms.

You can also pull out the adult games listing in AtomicFE automatically. What front end are you using?

they should put these in there own folder aside from the regular's so it would be the end user's choice to manually copy/paste the "adult game folder" contents in with the others or not.
