I love this "Best of the Web" kind of stuff...

That was awesome! As I started reading, I had no idea where it was going, but that was great.

Very neat story. His dad was pretty cool about it too.
My dad always got pissed when I proved him wrong - which wasn't hard to do. He is still convinced though that he wrote "Knock on Wood" by Ike & Tina and that they stole it from him. I never believed him, but there was always this small thread of doubt...until the wonders of the internet stepped in after he proclaimed it again one day. I had to inform him that the song was released in 1969 - he would have been 15 years old. ;D

Interesting read (all 3 pages of it).
I think his dad is lying about a few things.... like sticking to the "F" drawing, and "forgetting" the nose.
Fact is his dad has been silently been saying something to his son, which I feel will drastically alter their relationship once I reveal it to him:
First he draws an F
Then he draws a U
Then the ear is a C
With a disjointed K for eyes
Finally a bunch of shapes which which are hard to decifer,
but the mouth has a U

OMG, looking at the pictures again I totally see it. Definitely a suppressed thought manifesting itsself thru symbology. Well, the son was always wondering why his dad just had to draw it on the cake. He must have been really pissed when he drew it more than once on the same cake. ;D

You should see what he drew on those cakes in "invisible" icing.

that was a great story (",)

Can we put the face on the 2008 BYOAC tokens?
