Title: Need Advise to choice video card

I have some ppl that wants to sell me some video cards.
Please advise me to choice the best video card.

I am running WIN98 S.E O.S
Amd duron 1000mhz
256mb.

Ok..there we go...
 
1 - ATI RAGE PRO PCI tv-out /  s-video (he dont told me how mgs does it have) maybe 8mb. -11$

2- Riva tnt2 16mb tv-out (dont know if have s-video)- 17$

3- Gf2mx tv-out (dont know if have s-video)32mb- 22$


P.S - I convert the prices from euros to usd.

Please help me on this.... ???

in the main forum, there is a sticky thread "read all 67 pages...". theres a link to a faq there with 2 video card threads.

You basically have three different generations of cards there. Since they are all so cheap I would pick the newest one (Gf2mx tv-out).

Agreed...get the geforce2.  They'll all probably handle Mame okay, but the geforce2 will give you the best results if you play any windows games (particularly 3D games -- but that's pretty much all of them).  I think that all Geforce2 level tv-out cards have s-video rather than composite-out, but I could be wrong.  Either way, it's your best option there.
