Title: MaLa info box question

I've been messing around with MaLa recently.
If you push the alt button(default) an info box will pop up that shows the history of a particular game. This information comes from a history.dat file. Unfortunately, it can only work with mame files. Is there a way to create a history file for other systems like SNES or Sega?

Also, does anyone know if something similar can be done in Maximus Arcade?
