Title: LEDUtil blinks LEDS on my PS2 keyboard, but not USB-connected IPAC
Post by: millercentral on December 29, 2007, 11:01:24 pm
I've noticed that the LEDutil app that comes with MAME does not work correctly with the IPAC LED lights when the IPAC is connected via USB. While pressing CapsLock or NumLock on the keyboard lights the IPAC LEDs, whatever the LEDutil app does to light them does nothing to change the state of the IPAC leds.

Does anyone know if MAME hooker or any of the other Keyboard LED-enabled mame output programs work with the IPAC in USB mode (on XP)?

Thanks!

ledutil usage:

Code: [Select]
ledutil.exe -kill : to kill the program
ledutil.exe -usb : to override default PS/2 method

Yes, you need the -usb as headkaze said.

They should really change -usb to be the default as it works with both PS2 and USB keyboards now.
