Title: Golden Tee Monitor too FAT!!!
Post by: fairway2000 on December 28, 2007, 07:53:56 pm
I have a golden tee that you can not see both sides of the screen(too fat). I tried adjusting with the remote adjustment control but it will not adjust. My question is. Do the adjustment pods on these controls go bad very often?

Thanks

It looks like it is a Neotec 2701. I changed the pot on the remote and nothing happened. It was the H-Hold pot.
Any ideas on what to try next?

Thanks
Pete

my monitor is a different make and model but it has a wire loom that can be swapped from each pin set on the chassis 1 for standard display and one for a widescreen display you may want to check to see if yours has a set-up like that and if so it may be set on wide when you want it set at standard.

hsize is VR2 (100k pot) if no change...
check Q3 (2sc2073), R31(5.6ohm/2w), C24(.7uF@400v)
emitter voltage of Q1(2sc458) should be around 19.3v  / collector Q3=27v , base=20v
'lytic caps C6-8 (10uF/50v),C16(22uF/50v),C9(4.7uF/50v)and C19(5.6uF/50 non-polarized i.e. bipolar)will have an effect with value change/high esr, etc....

not the best rendering , but have a print if u wish ....pm request  ;)
