Title: Test Neo Geo boards without cartridges?

Is it possible to test Neo Geo board sets without having any game cartridges? I won an auction for three untested single slot boards on eBay, but I don't have any cartridges.

They should go straight to hardware test mode.  You'll see a crosshatch screen and p1 start will cycle through, switch tests, sound tests, and such.  To test the slots, I believe you will need cartridges.
