Title: Jukebox Questions with PICS

Well, here's my wall mounted touchscreen jukebox, pics are a little grainy (sorry).  I will hopfully be replacing the posterboard bezel soon with something like this http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=59624.msg596119#msg596119.

What are your suggestions to hide the wiring?

I ordered some grey wire loom tubing here http://cableorganizer.com/wire-loom/colored-loom.html but I'm not sure what I should do about running the wires into the wall.

I will have the CPU and external HD on the other side of the wall plugged into a 4 gang outlet, but I need something to hold the tubing while the monitor extends out from the wall.

I was thinking of something like this http://www.amazon.com/Leviton-R0100688001-Iv-Clock-Outlet/dp/B000HEIW04.  I could drill a hole wide enough for the tubing to pass through.

What do you guys think?  Other suggestions?

Get a blank plate like you would put where  you have moved a lightswitch and are not wanting to restop and paint, drill a hole in it the size of the flexable loom. Electrical suppliers sell gromety things that take flexable conduits and have a thread and nut on the end to lock it in place, but I have never bothered and just make the hole the size of the smaller parts of the corrogations and bend it till it pops in place.

Mount the plate to the wall in a wallbox, or just use a couple of wall anchors if there is no stud close by.

There is a curved piece of metal pipe used to connect to the monitor and to the wall mount.  If this metal pipe is hollow then you probably can put all of your wires inside this metal pipe and then drop them down into the wall from behind the wall mount piece (see picture).  The RED lines are your wires and the yellow circle is the hole in the wall (which is hidden behind the wall mount).   You can then plug in all the wires behind the wall.

I also posted a picture of a better wall plate to use (ie: has one hole on the middle) if you decide to use one, although I like my idea better  ;D

Thanks for the suggestion/idea.  I thought about that, however; the rod's diameter is not wide enough for the video cable to pass through.  I ended up using a clock wall mount and some wire loom tubing to hold the wiring when the monitor is extended out from the wall.  Will post some better pics when I get a bezel for the jukebox.

Since this is a touchscreen and it's on that swivel, does it move much when your selecting songs and touching the screen? ???

Good question rberger3.  I thought that would be a problem, however; there are two hex screws that can be used to tighten both swivels where the rods swing out so there is resistance, therefore; I can tighten/loosen them up so when someone pushes the screen when the mount is extended, their finger does not push the monitor back.  The screw system comes with the mount and works great!
