Title: how do i post a picture?

how do i post a picture (gif)? i did the "attach" thing but is there something else i need to type in the body like (http://...)? or do i need my own webspace for this?

Attach your picture with the attach: and make sure it is one of the listed file types and prefered less then 100KB.   Or you can put it on your own web site and insert image with the proper url.
