I'm ready to mount my touchscreen jukebox but I'm not sure what the recommended height is. Any suggestions? I was able to mount the 15" touchscreen to an LCD wall arm mount so it will be able to rotate and swing away from the wall. Cheers!

Really it depends on who you want to use it. I would go for getting the screen at head height. However if you want shorter people to use it like children you will have to mount it lower down or provide them something to stand on. If you don't mount it at head height and your screen doesn't have a good field of view it will look strange to anyone not looking at it head on.

you could always go down to your local Pub/Bar and see how they are mounting it and average out a good heigth.

I would say eye level or a little below. Mine is just a bit higher than that and I would move it done about two inches if I could, but I am to busy now to do it. Have someone hold the screen against the wall and you stand back and look at it, worked for me.

Personally I would like one for myself at around 6 feet, but I am 6'6". In reality something around 5' would be more universal.
You say you have an lcd arm already there, doesn't that mean your height is already fixed?

The back of the touchscreen has the arm mount attached, but the rest of the mount has not been installed yet cause I still have to finish painting the wall that I built for the jukebox. The mount can rotate in two areas 180 degrees and can tilt 5-15 degrees. I just need a good height before I mount it. At the time I bought the mount there was free shipping so $30 was a pretty good price. Here it is:

What monitor are you using?
I want to get a touchscreen to mount on the wall as well but I never bought one before.
I want to go at least 19".
Any suggestions on a model?

Andy D., I bought an ELO 15" touchscreen. There are some for sale on this thread but they're only 15" http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=74097.0 I would ask around about the 19" models but as far as mine goes, I love it. Just have to buy my bezel. Good luck!

13" from the ceiling. If this does not provide comfortable viewing, adjust your ceiling accordingly ;)
