Title: CP Template for DK CP?

I am looking at building a custom CP that will fit the DK/DKJr/DK3/Popeye/etc cabs.

I am restoring a DKJr on another thread (actually in my garage, not in the thread, but...   :P).  My wife and kids have been playing the 48-in-1 board that I have in there and have complained that the button is on the wrong side so I would like to build a custom CP for it that I can swap out for the DKJr one that I have.

Before I get flamed here, I am not looking at putting a trackball, spinner, 4 joysticks and 24.5 buttons!   >:D

I simply want to move the joystick to the center, have the action button (perhaps a second button for the games in the 48-in-1 that need it (does 1942 need 2 buttons?)) and the P1/P2 buttons (not sure where to best put them yet).

Anyone have a CP that is that simple that I can use?

How do you dare to ask. Of course 1942 needs two buttons. One for fire (duh) and one for the amazing, fantastic, brilliant looping !  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

Sorry... my bad.  Its been so long since I played it.

2 buttons it is then...  joystick in the middle, 2 buttons on each side, 1P/2P buttons.

The DK control panel is just a piece of board with a slit (for the metal tab that holds it in place) and some claps, any piece of board cut to the right size will do. The harness though, its another question. You probably have a jamma harness so you will be fine. I think i have an extra cp somewhere ( i just trew out a dk cab in the alley).
