I have a few extra brand new IPAC cards for sale if anyone is interested. I was making custom cocktail cabinets a few years ago and have some of these left:

Comes with the card, new in anti-static bag plus bubble wrap, and a PS2 connector cable. I know these are older models, but they work just as well as the current models.

I have an auction going for on over here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150196933157) if you want more info.
If you are in the US and want to buy some directly from me for $40 which includes shippings, send me a private message, or you can bid on my auction and hope to get lucky.
Oh and BTW, did I mention that $40 offer direct through here includes shipping, saving you about $14 per unit. What a super deal!
Thanks everyone and have a happy holiday :)

How many do you have?
Will the current configuration software work with the older ipacs?

I have 5 boards to sell, two of which are already listed for auction (currently no bidders).
The software for this model is here (http://www.ultimarc.com/winipac.html), and it can be downloaded here (http://www.andywarne.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/WinIPAC_Setup.zip) and here (http://codebot.org/WinIPAC_Setup.zip). I don't believe the newer software works with it though I haven't tried it.

I see those apps are designed to run under Windows. Do you know if the ipacutil from Travis Veldkamp will work with this version of ipac?

Although I haven't verified any utility other than the one I linked previously and the DOS utility work.
Searching the Internets I found this page: http://www.zumbrovalley.net/ipacutil/ (http://www.zumbrovalley.net/ipacutil/)
I think it references the utility you mentioned. On his site I read "2007/09/05 Update: Just got my new I-PAC 2/4 boards and have had success programming via USB. The code is still held together with spit and paperclips, but expect a release soon. I'm working on this (very) part-time, so keep that in mind. Interestingly, the PS/2 release is probably going to be behind USB this time around. Anyone with serio-raw expertise"
So reading that I wouldn't make any promises. Maybe if I had his sources to go from and the inclination I'd write a utility on my own.
Thanks for the interest and good luck!

Oh, and I forgot to add this. The utilities mentioned above just reprogram the I-PAC key codes.
In my experience if you are planning on using the I-PAC with mame you can always edit the mame.ini file and change the key mappings there. That kind of negates the need to reprogram the I-PAC keycodes.
Finally, if it's critical that you need reprogram the I-PAC keycodes in place of the default ones, there is always the option to program it on a windows box, then use it on your linux/mac box. Once the keycodes are programmed they stay put even when you change OSes.
