Title: What happens if i use a standard res monitor with a board the requires a medium

Just wanted to know what happens if i use a standard res monitor in place of a medium?

You will not get a useable picture on the screen.

And potentially fry your deflection circuity and/or yoke in the monitor feeding it an significantly out of range signal.
