Anyone know how to get Magic Bubble to work with a spinner? (i.e. mouse control)?
Slick game but is kind of difficult using a joystick to aim the pointer.
A spinner would be great if it is possible.

Sorry, don't have an answer on the spinner/mouse countrol. I use a joystick myself with no problem.
Just curious, but I do have a question about this game. Periodically the animals shoot down bubbles for you. Any idea what the trigger is for them to do this? Been trying to figure out exactly what to do to cause it but haven't had luck. All I can guess thus far is you have to drop some combination of bubbles rather than just pop them, but not every drop causes the action.

The short answer is: No. :(
The long answer is yes but not really. :(
The original Magic Bubble arcade game used a digital joystick, so mame emulates the stick. You should be able to map the mouse to the left and right, but it will just be pretending to be a joystick, so you will not the the additional control you expect. IIRC, there are similar games that originally did use a spinner, so mame emulates the spinner, so your spinner/mouse will act like you want; I can't remember OTTOMH which they are, though.
