Title: One more Question.. :) Wiring 1 coin button
Post by: HeadRusch on May 11, 2003, 08:06:52 pm
Anyone else just "skip the hassle" of wiring individual coin buttons, and instead just wire a single COIN button to pop coins into 1, 2, 3, 4 simultaniously??

Probably an okay idea... It might cause some problems in games where entering a coin is like start for you...

You could probably get away with it for most games, but like anthony691 said, it could cause problems with a few.  On games like Gauntlet, adding a coin adds life, so everyone will get life added when the coin is pressed.

I did this once on a control panel, but I found it just annoying enough to add the extra coin buttons on my more recent control panels.
