Title: Good 21'' monitor?

At this point...is dismantling a 21" CRT comp. screen cheaper?

Depends on what you plan on doing with it.

Standard MAME stuff.  I'd rather run @ 60hz due to the fact I won't be playing too many games pre-1990.

If you're not concerned with older native resolutions then I would save my money and decase a pc monitor.  IMO
