Hi all,
I would like to know which paint do I have to use to refresh my Galaga cab ?
I need to paint these areas :

And also the kickplate / front :

WHat was the original Galaga color for these partss ?
- Black Satin ? Bright ?
- What it the best method ?

I looks like a regular eggshell black. Why not go to your local hardware department and take a few of those small square paint samples so you can compare. Unless you want to chip off a small piece of the paint and take that with you to the hardware store.-

In fact, these areas were already be painted in the past, and I'm sure it not the orginial paint. If you see on the picutres, it looks too matt... So that is the reason why I need to know what is the original paint for these areas ? :P

Originally it was fairly glossy, kindof a semi-gloss. I used Rustoleum Satin Black to refurb one of these and it was a very good match for those areas. I would recommend going with that.

The pictures above show before and after painting. The sides of the game and the front were laminated though so their sheen is not true to the original. However you can see how the original paint is fairly glossy, as are the inside areas after being repainted carefuly with Rustoleum Satin Black.

Ok, for archive... and because the project is done, I can tell "Black Satin" like Wade said previously.
