Title: Connecting controls to Xbox 360
Post by: Franco on November 30, 2007, 07:21:52 am
I want to connect my arcade controls to my 360. I thought the ultimarc xbox adapter might work (via my IPAC) but it does not work with a 360.

Im guessing my only option is to hack a couple of pads (or rather buy some from HarumaN) and connect them to my controls?

Thanks for the link.

Im going to be using D subs anyway so that could be a good solution. I know that there are separate grounds from all of the 360 buttons, would i be able to connect these together and link them to the daisy chain ground from my controls or would that be a problem?

iam making controls for the xbox 360 as well. each button has a seperate ground, you can t daisy chain- iv tried and it dosnt work. so i you have bought a sanwa JLF with the pcb your screwed. i had to go and buy  a semitsu LS 32- wich i am so gald i did as its easy to wire up and performs better in my opianan.

so what iam saying is your need two wire for each button (one for common and the other for ground)

also if u want to do the triggers- its very hard work.

hope that kinda helps

Some of the 360 micro controllers have common grounds.
