Title: Blitz: The League Arcade Game?
Post by: Red on November 30, 2007, 01:25:30 am
Was this ever an Arcade Game?  I've never seen it or even heard about it being an arcade game until I stumbled upon this on eBay.  Anyone know?

I think I remember this game came about because the NFL wouldnt license there logos to Midway for another NFL bltiz game.  So they just created imaginary teams.  I dont think it was ever in an arcade cabinet?

A little too risque' for kids though, it had lots of foul languauge and adult situations.

I personally thought the game was pretty fun.  I just didnt let my son play it.

Thanks guys.  I didn't think it was ever released as an arcade game, but when I saw that Marquee on eBay, I thought maybe they had planned to release it as an arcade game at some point or they just did an extremely limited number of machines.
