Hi Everyone,
Trying my first "hacking" project. I have the Jakks Pac-man with the different Pac-man variants, Galaxian, Dig-dug, Rally-X and Bosconian. I took the unit apart, and like many of the threads I have found stated, all the control solder points are well-labeled. Where I am having issues is the five wires that go to the front switch assembly. there is a green, yellow, orange, red, and brown wire going to the board where the power switch and select button is located. I have read that I have to keep the l.e.d. in the circuit, but looking at this I'm really at a loss what to do with these wires. Can anyone offer any advice?
Thanks!

Been a while since I've opened mine up but I can guess that there's one ground and one wire going to the switch and the reset. not sure what the fifth is without looking.
Post some pictures... :pics
With mine I plan on leaving the original assembly. I can add another switch or button if I want. But I'm still playing mine. I found that I really like original pac and pac-plus, it's almost an addiction.

Thanks for the reply, I'll work on trying to get some pics. I'm starting to think I might just keep the switch piece intact- I really like the little light up fake coin slot/menu button. These Jakks games may not be the most accurate emulation, but they sure are fun! Once I get this thing hooked up to a better joystick I think it will be even better (can't wait)!
