I've got a Neo Candy 29 I'm thinking about getting rid of. It needs some new controls. I rewired the sound to be stereo and put a Neo Geo audio plug in it. I cleaned the outside as good as I can but it's still yellowed. It's got the 4-space marquee holder on there. The plastic needs replacing. The monitor's nice and bright with no problems. $600
I've also got a 4-slot board and around 25 carts. $200 for that.
If people seem interested, I'll post as many pictures as asked for.
Edit: $600 takes everyting, shipping extra
-
where ya located, and are ya willin to part with just some carts as well? I already got me a spiffy 4 slot dedicated cabbie but Ive always got room for a Neo Candy cab
-
I'm in Atlanta, GA. I may be willing to sell some carts separately.
-
can you figure out how much shipping would be to 21921 (elkton, md) and also get some pix?
Also, can you list the carts you have? I have about 20 or so myself and dont want any more dupes =)
-
Cheapest shipping will probably be R&L Carriers. I have no way to weigh the thing so I don't know how much it weighs, probably about 200# or so. They ship by dim weight. I forgot what class arcade machines are considered. I'll get some measurements and pictures later.

I don't know what I was thinking when I said $200 for the board and carts. I'd need like $325.

Here's some pictures of the cabinet

These didn't melt the plastic, just discolored it. There's nothing wrong with the plastic on the cabinet that couldn't be fixed with a little sanding and repainting.

looks to be in pretty good shape, have any pix of it running?
I'd definitely like to snag these 6 MVS carts either way:

Once you get an idea of what shipping would be on the neocandy , I'll see if I can swing it
-
It won't be more than $200. What's your zip code? Alsp, if I don't sell the whole lot of games and 4-slot, I'm not selling Metal Slug 3. It's my favorite :)
-
i thought i'd throw out there, that i recently purchased a super neo 29 that had yellowing of the plastics. i just picked up a can of plastic paint from home depot, and within 15m had an awesome coat that made the cab look brand new. the paint cost me $4.00
i'm sure a lot of you know this, but just wanted to throw it out there :)

Im trying to see if I can get rid of my dedicated MKII to make room for the candy
-
The quick calculator for R&L Carriers said $182 but I'd have to buy/build a pallet and shrink wrap so it'd be somewhere in the neighborhood of $200 +/- 15

I will take everything minus the cabinet. Email me

If the cabinet doesn't go, nothing goes.

above, it says that you were willing to part with the games but now you aren't?

He said he might part with "a few games". He never said he's gut the cabinet.
-
all i want is all the games. I don't need the motherboard
-
I want them games I listed but I need to get rid of either my neogeo dedicated or my MKII dedicated to make room for it.
-
Okay, apparently everybody doesn't understand what's going on here.
If the cabinet doesn't sell, I'm not selling the MVS board or the games. No use in having a big plastic and steel cabinet with nothing in it.
If the cabinet sells but the MVS board doesn't, I'm not selling the games. I can put the board and games in my other cabinet.
If the cabinet sells and the MVS board goes with it, I'll sell the games. I won't have any use for carts with no hardware.
-
Good looking cabinet. Hope you sell it to someone that will appreciate it!
-
Holy zombie thread Batman! I'd take $600 for the cabinet, mobo, and carts. Hell of a deal. I think I've got close to $1100 in this thing.
Shipping/crating is obviously extra.
-
Damn, that is a great deal. I would get it in an instant if I weren't so broke and unemployed.
