I've set up advancemame on my cabinet to run at 5-150/15.75/45-90 and centered it.
Most games run perfectly centered. All CPS2 games and many others run correctly.
But a small number, like R-Type I and II, Mortal Kombat I and II, Mario Bros, and all vertical games others will be off to the side.
Is there some aspect of these games that make them different? Is there a way in advancemame to set up specific video settings for specific games?
Right now I'm resorting to adjusting the screen on my monitor, but that doesn't work so well when I have to take the glass out of my cabinet and unscrew things.

You need to set up modelines for those resolutions with the advv utility.
