Hi all,
I have recently come into possession of some arcade machines in fairly good shape. I will tell up front I am not very good troubleshooting monitor issues.
I was hoping maybe you could point me in the right direction with this issue. Basically, I power on the unit, the image comes up on the screen (WG 19K4961) and I notice near the bottom of the screen there is black area forming a small peak from the bottom up (about 3 inches up into the screen). Right next to the black area is a dark shadow covering roughly a third of the way up the monitor. The black area almost looks like the result of a broken area in an LCD screen.
I am considering this may be a problem with the voltage regulator or the blanking circuit. I haven
