Title: Mala rotation question

I have fiddled for hours and read the mala wiki but still can not figure out if their is a way to get Mala to automatically rotate the screen orientation to match that of the game. I have it configured in MAME32 but it does not seem to work when I use MAME32 with MALA. For example, If I want to be in horizontal orientation but then decide to play centipede, a vertical game, is their a way to make MALA automatically turn the screen to run vertically? I swear I did it once but can not figure it out again for the life of me. Works when run with MAME32. Thanks!
