Title: Mirror for Lethal Enforcers question
Post by: killbill on November 19, 2007, 07:02:26 pm
Hi All,

I recently shattered the mirror for my Lethal Enforcers machine during a move.

I want to go have a piece of mirror cut.  First I wanted to ask: it's basically standard 1/4" mirror for these type of games correct?  Nothing special?

I'd hate to have the mirror cut and find out it won't work for some crazy reason.

Any info is truly appreciated.
Thanks.
JT

Wasn't there some sort of graphic "embeded" (for lack of better description) in the mirror on a Lethal Enforcers?
I may be thinking of something else.

Otherwise....yes, just a plain piece of mirror.

I just had one through here last week,  cleaned the mirror after fixing the monitor and I didn't notice any graphics on the glass.  Looked like a standard mirror glass.  There was a sticker on the backside with removal instructions, so I would assume it was an original mirror glass.

Yeah, I couldn't remember for certain off the top of my head.
Just seemed like there was something you could only see with the light just right looking at it from an angle or ilghted from behind.
Like a gunshot blast graphic or something.
Heck I could be thinking of a totally different game.

But once again so as not to confuse the original poster...... a plain mirror will be totally functional.

Midway's Terminator 2: Judgement Day had a "blast" graphic.   When the coating on the backside of the glass was applied, a "blast" element didn't get the coating. This allowed light to pass thru it from the backside.  The machine then had a lamp board mounted in behind.  These lamps would flash when you got "hit".   Neat effect, reminds me of old EM shooters.
