Great Job for a first cabinet!!!    :applaud:

You even de-cased the TV and mounted in there very nicely.   8)
Do you have any details or pics of the TV de-casing/mounting process?

Welcome to this wonderful hobby.

no pics. the inside of cab is 24'' wide. (23 7/8) the tv is 23'' at the tube. there was some plywood glued to inside to mount the old monitor. i had to chip away 3'' of that in the middle , so i could WEDGE the tv. I just kept digging until the tv sat at the depth i needed. then i glued and screwd support blocks to inside of cab, then screwed down the tv thru the EARS of the TV's metal strap. Its VERY secure , as i had to lean cab on its side to mount heavy duty casters. Its ugly without the bezel, but works just fine.

The bezel is just a piece of lexan cut to fit, spray painted black on back side. Its mounted so close to tv , that u cant see any part of how its mounted.

not me!  I spent that much on my darn multisync! then it wouldnt fit in my cab (That I paid $150) so then I had to buy 3 sheet of MDF to build one ($70)  so yeah..  I spent $500+ and have a monitor and 3 sheets of wood :D   I'm broke and meanwhile BadKitty is have fun playing NBAJam with his buds.. probably has money left to buy beer :D

The trick is to space out the money you spend over several years.. that way you (or you wife) forget how much you have tied up in it ;)
