Hey guys!
I just went to see and buy my Cruis'n World. I will collect it the next weekend, so no pictures
yet :)
1. Regarding artwork, what do you guys use to clean it? it's somewhat dusty but in great
condition. I'd rather not do something wrong to the sides...
2. The monitor is faulty; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. What could be the problem
here?
3. Is there any other games that would fit this system? I take it that Cruis'n USA would fit.
If you have any advice/tips for me, I would like to know :)
That's all, thanks again!!

RE Q#3: It runs on the Midway V system (http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=615). Games include Cruis'n USA, Cruis'n World and Off Road Challenge.

I use Simple Green, cleans well and not too harsh. Generally works good on these types of decals. As always try it in a small spot first.

Any number of things from bad solder joints to bad caps causing high voltage shutdown or SMPS shutdown. Once you get the machine, post back with either the monitor make/model or a piture of the monitor chassis. Some models have common problems.

As you noted in your other post. But you won't be able to just do a rom swap to change games since each game has a specific security chip. Easiest (but not cheapest) way to swap games is to pick up a working CPU board for any other game you want to run in the cab.

Thanks!
That's three games then...if I need others:) Where do I get these games? I checked ebay, to
get an idea on price, but no luck.
I'll get back to you when I get it....I probably want the monitor fixed :)
