Title: Dreamcast emulation...slow?
Post by: hellothere123 on November 17, 2007, 10:14:00 am: I have a AMD3200 PC, I've tried chankast and nulldc

Problem is the games are choppy and REAL slow

Am I doing somehting wrong, do I need a faster PC, or is Dreamcast emulation just in need of better emulators?

try a few and see.

You should be able to get near 100% emulation with some games, though the sound seems to be a bit choppy.

Post by: Goz on November 19, 2007, 12:10:40 am: Depending on your system some games you may have to throttle down with beta 1.6 I was running an older version and Gauntlet Legends sound was very choppy; problem resolved in 1.6

Post by: rgw20014life on December 03, 2007, 01:59:25 pm: They both also rely on your video card. Somewhere around a Geforce 6600 GT level should be good enough. I also recommend NullDC, its what I use on my cab for Marvel vs Capcom 2.
