Anyone have a links to videos showing a control panel using LEDWIZ or any illuminted button controller for that matter? Has anyone configured buttons to light up for a specific game? Spending the money to add the lighted bling buttons is one thing, but if my Mala FE can detect and light up only the buttons pertaining to that specific game, then thats worth the extra cash.
I would also love to see Luminaduio in action.

FYI MaLa (and most FE's) can do that.

Here you go :

The quality is really bad though - the price you pay for using your camera phone. If you shrink your explorer/firefox window then it don't look too bad.
The video starts in "attract mode" then I demonstrate scrolling throught the list of games. Then I try to start Defender and it all goes wrong.....
Oh and thats in Mala using Loadman and Edge's plugin to light up my single ledwiz controller.
And heres a terrible video (something went badly wrong and it appears sideways and split in two) of Randys "dancing to music" lightshow thing. Very cool.

Scroll down a little bit and you can see some shots of my cab running the ledwiz with mala.
They not only light up just the buttons for the game but they light up to the original games colors.

I count 17 different led lit buttons there going all three colors. Thats 51 inputs on the ledwiz. Did you double them up or use a second one?
-
nope, theres the top 3 buttons for pl1 and pl2 plus the trackball doing RGB. All the other buttons are using single colours - a total of 31 of the 32 inputs on the ledwiz.
Hope that helps.

and to answer your question .. i have GameEx (using headkaze's plugin) light the specific controls for each game in MAME using the original colors from the control panel... i.e. 1942 is 2 buttons lit red/white, just like the original arcade hardware. and then for each of the console emulators, I have a profile set up to match the original colors of the game pad for that console ... and a custom profile for visual pinball ... etc
full RGB lighting and LEDwiz's goes a LONG way as far as improving usability of your cab ... otherwise you have to be there to explain what each button does for every frikin thing on it ... regular people cant figure that stuff out its too much to ask, especially if you got some crazy console emu set up with 7-8-9 buttons.... anything past A2600, NES, sega master system, and genesis is just asking too much of anyone to figure out =) .. even SNES has 4 buttons + 2 shoulder buttons .. = 6 buttons to figure out. not to mention N64 with its 2 main, 4 'dpad' buttons, trigger, and l/r.
