Ultimarc U360 sounds like a great stick for all types of games and I might buy one, but it is quite expensive. How does it play the Hall Effect games like:
I, Robot
Escape From The Planet Of The Robot Monsters
Road Runner
also, sinistar, xybots and xenophobe?
Excuse my lack of knowledge as i am new and this is one expensive stick I want to make sure if it plays those games well or not, especially the hall effect games.
Thanks.

Not sure about most of those games. Only one I've tried from that bunch is Sinistar. I don't really like how it controls. Never played the original so I can't say if it plays like it should. Seems quite unresponsive but I figure its the settings for that game since the control works nice on N64 emulators as an analog control and most other analog games.

I just tried Road Runner and Escape From The Planet Of The Robot Monsters, stick works wonderfully. I had to remap the joy x/y +/- though. The default for me was not correct, but as long as i only had the analog joy mapped, and no digital joy parameters set, it works wonderfully. In roadrunner it was for sure working.. if i pushed the stick a little, he moved slow and alot made him move faster. I was on the fence about getting these sticks, but now that Ive got the autoswitching maps setup correctly, its wonderful.
I hope that makes sense. Im sick at home today so Im parked in front of my PC playing with these sticks.

FYI, you can think of a "Hall Effect" joystick as an "(POT) analog joystick that doesn't use POTs". People have replaced joystick POTs with Hall Effect sensors and vice versa.
Example: the u360 is an analog joystick that doesn't use POTs. It really helps play Escape From The Planet Of The Robot Monsters over 8-way sticks, but as syph007 said, make sure the stick is mapped to the AD Stick Analog port, and NOT to the AS Stick Inc/Dec ports.
