Title: Electrohome G07 monitor question?
Post by: creatine28 on May 08, 2003, 07:59:45 pm
Just got an arcade monitor, think it's a Electrohome G07?  Anyway, the monitor works just the picture is squished down to about 3 inches wide down the middle of the screen and I can't adjust it.  The monitor is mounted Vertically and its already been recapped by the previous owner.  So, from reading a lot of  message boards, it sounds like a Vertical Deflection transistor problem, but I'm just guessing?  Does this sound correct and if so, is this a hard or expensive problem to fix?

Thanks!

transistors are cheap and easy. I replaced the vertical output transistors on one of my monitors. I just unsoldered them, took one to the tv shop and picked up a couple of replacements (like $4 each).

Yeh, you may want to replace the vertical output transistors if you have already done a cap kit.
