BestBuy day after Thanksgiving sale, $200 desktop.
eMachines Desktop Computer - Celeron 420, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 17" LCD, Printer
No rebates. MS-Vista, though I'd try to put XP or Linux on it personally.

the trick is to buy it early. Most retailers have a return policy of at least 14 days. Buy it now, and the day after T-day, take the receipt back in and they should refund the difference.

I'd sell the Hackintosh in my sale thread for that price.
The parts were selected for OSX but runs XP just fine. P4 2.6Ghz 1GB RAM, 7.1 Audio, 160GB Drive, etc

closest best buy is like 2-1/2 hours from me and I am not into waiting in them crazy line's but it is a great deal though.
I am still looking for a used pc that is decent but if I cannot find one soon I will be building one from new newegg parts.
for $250.00 prior to shipping I could build a AMD athlon 64 3500+ with arctic cooler pro 64 and 512MB DDR400 pc 3220 ram 160gig hdd 450watt psu dvd+/-RW drive and loaded motherboard.
if somebody has a better deal on something similiar new or used let me know what your asking for it and it does not have to be as strong either but I'm not looking for anything really old either.
