This may have been asked here or in tghe MALA forums, but I 1) couldn't find it witha search and 2) don't speak German. So.....
I've got MALA set up and will play the intro video and game preview videos. Also plays the screensaver videos fine, however I am encountering two distinct problems.
The first is not showing in the MALA log. When the screensaver starts, it will play videos at random like it's supposed to. The problem occurs when trying to exit/quit the screensaver. When I pusha button the video freezes and my keyboard quits responding as far as MALA is concerned. Ctrl+Alt+Del lets me bring up the task manager and it shows MALA as "not responding." Happens every time.
The other problem is when scrolling through my games, I get an error message pop-up box "Mala has encountered an error and needs to close" or it freezes just like when trying to exit the screensaver. I'm assuming it has something to do with videos as that seems to be the major issue with the latest release, which I am using.
I have only the XVID codec installed, so it shouldn't be a codec issue, but maybe. Going to uninstall and reinstall after posting. ANy other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
3.0 GHz P4 with 256 Mb RAM and an NVidia Geforce 5200 video card are the basics of the machine.

MaLa currently is picky about the Codec and what other codecs are installed. If all else fails a fresh XP install then xvid codec seems to be a good plan. (don't upgrade mediaplayer or anything) Let us know the results
