Hello,
Does anybody know of a source in Canada for a 1/16" slot cutter (for installing T-Molding) that is located in Canada?
I have been unable to find one so far...and I have my T-Molding sitting here waiting, and nothing to cut the slot for it yet! ;)
Thanks!

Whats the best place in the US also. I checked HomeDepot and Lowes and neither have it.

I got mine at WoodWorker's Warehouse for like $12

I got mine from www.routerbits.com
They've got a good selection of slotting cutters, apparently high quality and their prices are decent. And they dip the blade in some kind of liquid rubber that hardens when cooled or something to keep it sharp during shipping, etc.. It's the coolest packaging I've ever seen ;D

Do either of you have a part number?
I tried both websites, but came up empty.. :(
Thanks!

I got mine from t-molding.com Took about 3 weeks to get across the border via regular mail (a common occurence lately), so I suggest using the criminal UPS shipping. Be prepared to pay the extortion fee they charge to bring it across, but the router bit works perfectly :)

Back to the original question. Any place in CANADA? All the sources so far seem to be US.

Exactly...I want to find a place in Canada where I can walk in and buy one...or at least have it shipped without
a) taking 3 weeks via mail, or
b) getting ripped off by UPS coming across the border.
Speaking of b, I have had stuff shipped from the States via Purolator...no duty, no brokerage, and was here the next day....I don't know if all places in the US can ship via Purolator, but if they can, that is the way to go....

Well, I've had a heck of a time finding one as well. I've actually gone to a wood show specifically to find one. I was talking to the Router Workshop guys and even THEY didn't carry one. I had to settle for a 1/8" one. It's just not the same.
If anyone does find a Canadian source, I'm in!

I looked and found these Canadian Sites
http://www.888sharpco.com/welcome.html (http://www.888sharpco.com/welcome.html)
http://www.dimarcanada.com (http://www.dimarcanada.com)
http://www.kempstoncanada.com (http://www.kempstoncanada.com)
http://www.islandsaw.com/homepage.htm (http://www.islandsaw.com/homepage.htm)
http://www.cutterbits.com/specialty.html (http://www.cutterbits.com/specialty.html)
I cannot vouch for the validity of any of these sites as I have never ordered but I did look for and find a 1/16 slot cutter or 5/64 slot cutter in their offerings. If these shops are local to anyone please comment.
