two parts to this question:
1. There use to be a link on the wiring page for how to wire a relay which was written by COBeav. This link now is dead and I was wondering if anyone has a copy of it??
2. I bought this relay pretty cheap and I was wondering if it will suit my needs(to power lights, amp,TV etc) http://www.components.omron.com/components/web/pdflib.nsf/0/EA0FA8EC872D47F685257201007DD46F/$file/G4B.pdf (http://www.components.omron.com/components/web/pdflib.nsf/0/EA0FA8EC872D47F685257201007DD46F/$file/G4B.pdf)
it is the model: G4B-112TP-C-US

I am not sure if I still have that anymore myself....
However all you need is a 12v to 110v relay from Radio shack.
Wire the 12v up to your pcs psu and then run the 110v to the normally open side of the relay and the 110v in.
When the pc turns on it will trip the relay and turn on your power.

That should work nicely. Just wire your things to the normally open contact, just like Ghoward said.

I'm in Canada and Radio Shack does not exist here anymore :( or else I would have got one.
PS. Thanks Saint
