Hi all,
Could someone please provide the dimensions of the artwork portion of the Star Wars upright marquee (from the blue background on the top to the white lines on the bottom, as well as the width, not including the black border)? I'm trying to construct the marquee holder which is completely missing from my cabinet. So I'd like to know the dimensions of which the light shines through.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Shilmover, thanks so much for your reply and time. I have a quick question--did you happen to see the cool post "Atari Star Wars from scratch": http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=62824.0
I was wondering if the actual marquee assembly looks similar to the 4th pic that pin_wiz_1 constructed.
thanks again

Very similar... except with mine, the glass goes all the way across the top.
Sorry, forgot to take pictures and measure tonight (having a blonde day). Will do so tomorrow.

No problem, please take your time. It's very nice of you to offer your assistance--I appreciate it!

A pleasure! The amount of help I have gotten from this group... its the least I can do.

Here are three pictures to help:
The dimensions are:
Width: 23 3/4"
Opening Width: 21 3/4"
Opening Height: 4 3/4"
The glass goes across the entire 23 3/4" width (You should be able to see where it goes in the picture).

Thanks so much Shilmover, that's exactly what I needed!

A pleasure.
LMK if you need anything else as my SW Cab is in pieces for the next couple of days... completely rebuilding the back pieces too.

Hey Shilmover (or anyone else), do the marquees have adhesive on them so they stick onto the glass behind them?
Thanks again.

I did order and receive a new Marquee and as I recall, it does have adhesive on the back (i know the original did as it was a pain in the --I'm attempting to get by the auto-censor and should be beaten after I re-read the rules-- to remove ;D). I have not applied the new one (if anyone is interested, I will take pictures of my application).

Hey Shilmover, thanks for the info. May I ask where you ordered it from and how you'd rate the quality of the marquee? Was it printed on a backlit material? Does it cover the entire piece that you posted the pic of?
Thanks again for your assistance and time :)

I ordered it from Arcadeshop.com. It is of very good quality and looks just like the original. I believe its the same size, but will send pics when I install it.
