I was going to use visio to create my layout of my CP, and I made the image the correct size so I can print it out on a plotter and use it for cutting etc...
My question is:
Is this the best way to do this? If not what do you suggest?
I know the mounting info for buttons and controllers, but where can I find the measurements for happs trackball, oscar spinners, etc.
If anyone has already done this could you send me the visio so I can cut and paste stuff?

Happs has the measurements under the expoded views and mounting views.
Oscar also has measurements to the left of the detailed view pages.
I'll send you over a ZIP of one of my Visio files. It has a template with a few buttons and I think Universial controllers (the ones that don't need mounting plates). The scale is 1:1.
The spinner and trackball aren't on the template, yet. I was going to use the actual mounting plates, so I just use a square to reserve the space. The Happs 3" trackball mounting plate is 6.5"x6.5".

Thanks, this will keep me busy for a few days ;D

look under the downloads section of this site - there are a ton of visio files.

Those are generally 2:1, which isn't a problem. I did my template as 1:1, and just changed the scale of the paper.
Email bounced back as undeliverable, so you're gonna have D/L the ones from the website.
