I saw this cab for sale, and it looks like it was originally a Defender cab. Can anyone confirm that? I'm looking to do a Defender restore, so this would be a good base.

it can be again with a little help....

Hard to believe there was a time when Crime City was a better earner than Defender.
-
Yup, definitely a Defender. Who in the world would spray paint black a stainless steel door though?

Okay, I am now the proud owner of a Crime City arcade machine! (never heard of the game before). I plan on turning this back into what it started out as - Defender. Look for a future project annoucement.
However, I most excited about the Gorf cabinet I also picked up. This one needs a lot of work, but it was always a favorite game of mine.

did Gorf use the same cab as Tron?
-
the overall shape of the game is similar

Similar shape, but not exact. I think the sides of the Tron cabinet were all one piece. Gorf looks like a two piece setup.

Awesome. Nothing is cooler than seeing a cabinet come back from the dead!
Especially a Defender...
