AVGA2 AGP + Win98. Is this possible? Only an XP and 2000 driver were included. Nothing on the website either. Thanks.

Why not go Windows 2000?
There are legitimate reasons depending on your purposes, I know... but I was just wondering why you personally chose to stick with 98...

From what I understand, Win98 SE is the best OS for speed and USB support w/ a slow rig. Win2k comes in second. I'm using a Celeron 300a overclocked to 450.

I used it with win98 for a while. Email Andy for the drivers (he has them, but I don't think they are officially supported). Also, you lose some special resolutions with the 98 drivers.

What special resolutions are we talking about? And what games do these resolutions pertain to? Thanks. I was unaware of this.

For one thing, you can't use the 'multi-sync patch' which provides true non-interlaced EGA, VGA, and SVGA modes (this wouldn't apply to you unless you had a multisync monitor though). I also believe you don't get a few of the non-standard resolutions/timings like 401x256@53hz (Mortal Kombat).
I actually just found an old email from Andy with the 98 drivers. Install them and you'll be able to see which resolutions are and aren't there.
