The big news for me in the latest Mame release is the use of hyper threading and a 64bit version of the software. I was able to play some games using Mala as a front end. Mala would throw an error at me and then load the game in some instances. In others, it would throw the same error and then just crash. Has anyone had any success with this? Is there any news on future Mala/Mame 64 compatibility?

Its going to be hard for anyone to help without the error message.

It was just a general error message. There were no details. I assumed it was a compatibility problem with Mala and the 64bit version of MAME, not something specific to my machine.

So you were able to play the same games with same settings without mala and without errors?
Would help to know the general error message, too.

Haven't had time test ROMs with and without the front end yet. Here are the errors:
From Windows:
Unexpected error. Mala will terminate now. Check the file mala.exe.log for bug report information.
